The SOLARNET Project and the International Time Programm (ITP) have launched the CALL FOR PROPOSALS 2014.

SOLARNET and ITP invite proposals for 2014 observing time in the Canary Islands Solar telescopes SST, THEMIS, GREGOR and VTT, as well as in the European instruments IBIS and ROSA installed at DST/NSO. SOLARNET support includes travel and subsistence grants for observing campaigns, as well as help to PIs for data reduction.

Nov. 12, 2013. SOLARNET Transnational Access and Service Programme. Preliminary results 2013.

The SOLARNET TAS Programme supports the access to solar telescopes and database repositories for external users. During 2013 a total of 82 observing-days have been supported to THEMIS, SST, and VTT telescopes, i. e. 40, 30 and 12 days respectively. That represents 26,18% of the expected amount of access for the SOLARNET four-year grant agreement.

Oct. 18, 2013: 1st SPRING workshop, November 26-28, 2013.

The 1st SPRING (Solar Physics Research Integrated Network Group) workshop is being held from November 26 – 28, 2013 at the scenic Brugger’s Hotel Park by Titisee hosted by the Kiepenheuer-Institut für Sonnenphysik in Freiburg, Germany.

Jul. 25, 2013. 1st SOLARNET - 3rd EAST/ATST meeting

Synergies between ground and space based solar research. 

This meeting is the 1st SOLARNET meeting and the 3rd EAST/ATST meeting.

The goal of this workshop is to foster collaborations between ground and space solar projects.
