The IV SOLARNET Meeting "The physics of the Sun from the interior to the outer atmosphere" has successfully finished today in Arrecife, Lanzarote, organized by the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in the framework of the FP7 Project SOLARNET.

Aimed at providing a coherent picture of the Sun as a single physical system, more than 135 participants from 22 countries attended the meeting, held from16-20 January in Arrecife Gran Hotel.

It was really remarkable the high number of women that attended the meeting, and also the high number of young researchers from both sex that participated in it.
